Nantong Sports Exhibition Center, located in the core area of Nantong CBD, has a green space among them which has been forgotten in the corner of the city after years of operational changes. As the first phase of the whole 70,000 square meters of public space transformation, this time we are faced with a single square cost of about 300 RMB, the status quo left an average height of 50CM of dirt and concrete foundation (demolition costs single square accounted for nearly 50 RMB), and a large number of the status quo seedlings of the site and the conventional demonstration area of the 'even rise point explosion' of unlimited momentum-building approach is different as a civic green space that has shed too many expressive attributes, we considered whether the strategy of 'half-lifting and leaving white' to release more possibilities for future activities in the space would be more appropriate for this project.
